Nepal Bank Announces 12 Percent Dividend From FY 2078/79

Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) has proposed the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend declaration is from the fiscal year 2078/79

The bank has proposed a 12 percent dividend. The total dividend includes a 2 percent bonus share and a 10 percent cash dividend.

As of Ashad’s end 2079 BS, Nepal Bank has a paid-up capital of Rs 14.40 Arba. On this capital, the bonus share is worth Rs 28.81 crores. Likewise, the cash dividend amounts to Rs 144.05 crores.

After the adjustment of the proposed bonus share, the paid-up capital will rise to Rs 14.69 Arba.

The dividend is subject to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

From the previous fiscal year  2077/78, Nepal Bank had provided a 17 percent dividend, including a 14 percent bonus share and a 3 percent cash dividend.
