New Skoda Rapid TSI Unveiled In Nepal

MAW Enterprises, the official dealer of Skoda for Nepal, has unveiled a new Rapid TSI in Nepal at an attractive price with additional power, comfort and value-for-money. The new Skoda Rapid is Rs 500,000 cheaper than the previous generation rapid, the company said. At present, the company has made it available in the Nepali market at a cost of Rs 34.90 lakhs.

The new Skoda Rapid is powered by a new exceptional TSI engine, previously used in premium models such as the Skoda Superb and Skoda Octavia. The new petrol TSI produces 110 PS of power and 175 Nm of torque, both of which are best-in-class.

The company has stated that the fuel efficiency of the new Ranpid TSI 1.0 is also exemplary, which is 18.97 kilometers per liter. The new TSI engine produces 5 percent more power and 14 percent more torque than the previous generation Rapid 1.6 MPI.

The new Skoda Rapid has a 460-liter “best-in-class” boot space and a 55-liter fuel tank. Also, all variants of the new Rapid have rear AC vents, automatic climatronic AC, tilt and telescopic steering. It also has safety features such as a parkotronic rear parking sensor, anti-glare interior rear view mirror, rough road package, fuel supply cut-off and floating code system and engine mobilizer.

According to the company, the Rider model has a price of Rs 34,90,000, the Rider Plus – Rs 36,90,000, the Ambition – Rs 43,90,000, the Onyx – Rs 44,90,000, the Style – Rs 50,90,000 and the Monte Carla – Rs 51,90,000.
