Prudential Insurance calls SGM; to endorse 60 percent right

Prudential Insurance has called for the Special General Meeting (SGM). The board of directors meeting held on Jestha 24, 2076 has decided to conduct the SGM on Ashad 10, 2076.

The major agenda for the SGM is to approve a 60 percent right share to the shareholders. At current, the insurance has paid-up capital of Rs. 64.15 crores. The company is planning to issue 10:6 right share worth Rs. 38.49 crores. After the issue of the right share, the paid-up capital will rise to Rs. 102.64. It will meet the minimum paid-up capital for non-life insurance companies which is Rs. 100 crores.

For the purpose of SGM, the share registration books will remain closed on Ashad 02, 2076.
