Standard Chartered Bank Announces 19 Percent Dividend From FY 2079/80

Standard Chartered Bank Nepal (SCB) has proposed a dividend to the shareholders. The dividend announcement is from the fiscal year 2079/80.
The board meeting of the bank held on October 30, 2023 has declared a 19 percent dividend. The total dividend includes a 19 percent cash dividend (including for tax purposes) that amounts to Rs 1.79 Arba.
The dividend is subject to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank as well as the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
From the previous fiscal year 2078/79, Standard Charted Bank had distributed a 16.51 percent cash dividend to the shareholders.
As of Ashad’s end 2080 BS, SCB Nepal has a paid-up capital of Rs. 9.42 Arba.
