Standard Chartered Bank Announces 25.5 Percent Dividend from FY 2080/81

Standard Chartered Bank Nepal (SCB) has proposed a dividend to the shareholders. The dividend announcement is from the fiscal year 2080/81.

The board meeting of the bank held on October 29, 2024 has declared a 25.5 percent dividend. The total dividend includes a 19 percent cash dividend (including for tax purposes) and a 6.5 percent bonus share.

The dividend is subject to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank as well as the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

From the previous fiscal year 2079/80, Standard Charted Bank had distributed a 19 percent cash dividend to the shareholders.

As of Ashad’s end 2081 BS, SCB Nepal has a paid-up capital of Rs. 9.42 Arba.
