Elon Musk, the visionary Chief Executive Officer of Tesla, has said that the company received 200,000 pre-orders for its Cyber truck within the three days of its launch.

In his tweet on Sunday, Musk indicated that the orders exceeded 200K. Tesla had launched its electric pick up truck called ‘CyberTruck’ on Thursday.

The starting price of the Cybertruck is $39,900 and a $100 payment is needed to reserve the order, as per the company’s website.

However, after the launch of the electric pick up truck, the share price of Tesla plunged by 6.1 percent. This is mainly due to the shattering of the “armored glass” of the truck during its display of power and durability.

The Cybertruck is set to be manufactured within 2021, as per the company’s plan.
