Menchhiyam Hydropower to Develop Upper Piluwa-1 Hydroelectric Project (HEP)

Menchhiyam Hydropower Pvt. Ltd. is going to construct Upper Piluwa-1 Hydroelectric Project (HEP). The company has received the construction license for the project from the Department of electricity development. The department issued the license on Karthik 7, 2078 BS. The construction license has validity until Karthik 6, 2113 BS.
Upper Piluwa-1 Hydroelectric Project (HEP) is a Run-of-River (ROR) type hydropower project with an installed capacity of 7.70 MW. It will generate electricity through Piluwa Khola located at Madi Rambeni, Siddhakali (Sankhuwasabha).
