American rapper Jay-Z becomes the hip-hop’s first billionaire

American rapper Jay-Z is officially now hip-hop’s first billionaire of the world, according to Forbes Magazine. His real name is Shawn Carter. His productive business endeavors and investments have assisted him to achieve the feat.

The Empire State of Mind rapper has a partnership with alcohol brands Armand de Brignac and D’Usse which sums his worth to an estimated $410 million. Similarly, his music streaming service Tidal also has an estimated value of $ 100 million.

His real estate and private art collection were valued at $50 million and $ 70 million dollars respectively by the financial experts. Likewise, Jay-Z also holds $70 million stakes in Uber, a car service company. A total of $220 million dollar estimation was done for his cash holdings and investment.
