Bank of Kathmandu profit rises by 33% till the second quarter

Bank of Kathmandu has published the 2nd quarter report of F.Y. 2075/76 today. The net profit has grown by 33.71% from the corresponding quarter of the previous year. In the 2nd quarter report of F. Y. 2075/76, the bank made a net profit of Rs. 73.75 crores.  Last year, the company’s profit stood at Rs. 55.16 crores in the 2nd quarter.

The company has paid up capital of Rs. 7.07 Arab, and reserve & surplus of Rs. 6.12 Arab. The bank has a deposit collection of Rs. 80.22 Arab. The loans & advances stand at Rs. 73.54 Arab till the 2nd quarter. The net interest income has risen to Rs. 1.77 Arab from Rs. 1.31 Arab. The free profit after regulatory adjustment stands at Rs. 66.13 crores.

The non-performing loans stand at 2.08%. Also, the Earnings Per Share (EPS)  is Rs. 20.86 as of 2nd quarter 2075/76. The base rate stands at 10.60%.
