Banks and financial institutions (BFIs) will now be able to charge for electronic banking only with the permission of the customer. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has amended the Unified Directive on Payment System-2077 BS and made a new provision to charge for electronic banking services such as internet banking, mobile banking, SMS banking only after obtaining the permission of the concerned customer and giving prior information about the service fee.

    Bank here charging amount for nothing and saying its company fault will be refunded soon but not refund yet for more than six months. I don’t know how many customers are facing this and how much the bank is earning through this collection.??
