May 3, 2021 | Investopaper

Banks and financial institutions will provide banking services with a maximum of 25 percent employees since Monday. After the second wave of corona virus spread rapidly in recent days, the regulatory body Nepal Rastra Bank on Sunday issued a directive to provide services through 20 percent staff in the central office and 25 percent in the branch office.

The government has issued a 15-day restraining order in some districts including Kathmandu Valley since Thursday after the second wave of Covid-19 infection spread rapidly.

As the branches and ATM booths of the bank will remain open during the lockdown, the banks have requested customers who have availed internet/mobile banking services to contact their respective branches by phone in case of forgetting their password or any other technical problem.
