Chhimek Laghubitta to Provide 15 Percent Dividend

Chhimek Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (CBBL) has announced the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend announcement is from the fiscal year 2079/80.

The microfinance has proposed a 15 percent dividend. The total dividend includes a 5 percent bonus share and a 10 percent cash dividend. The bonus share is worth Rs 14.17 crores while the cash dividend amounts to Rs 28.35 crores. Hence, the microfinance is planning to distribute Rs 42.53 crores worth of dividend.

From the previous fiscal year 2078/79, Chhimek Laghubitta had distributed a 25.26 percent dividend to the shareholders. This included a 22 percent bonus share and a 3.26 percent cash dividend.

As of Ashad’s end 2080 BS, Chhimek Laghubitta has a paid-up capital of Rs. 283.54 crores. After the inclusion of the proposed bonus share, the capital will increase to Rs. 297.71 crores.

The company will distribute the dividend after the approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the upcoming AGM of microfinance.
