Chhimek Laghubitta Proposes 25 Percent Dividend

Chhimek Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (CBBL) has announced the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend announcement is from the fiscal year 2081/82.
The microfinance has proposed a 25 percent dividend. The total dividend includes a 12.5 percent bonus share and a 12.5 percent cash dividend. The bonus share is worth Rs 40.19 crores while the cash dividend amounts to Rs 40.19 crores. Hence, the microfinance is planning to distribute Rs 80.38 crores worth of dividend.
From the previous fiscal year 2080/81, Chhimek Laghubitta had distributed a 15 percent dividend to the shareholders. This included an 8 percent bonus share and a 7 percent cash dividend.
As of Ashad’s end 2082 BS, Chhimek Laghubitta has a paid-up capital of Rs. 3.21 Arba. After the inclusion of the proposed bonus share, the capital will increase to Rs. 3.61 Arba.
The company will distribute the dividend after the approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the upcoming AGM of microfinance.
