Banks To Remain Closed On Saturday & Sunday

Banks and financial institutions (BFIs) in Nepal will also have two days off on Saturday and Sunday.
Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has issued a circular to BFIs, Infrastructure Development Bank and Nepal Clearing House Limited stating that there will be a public holiday every Saturday and Sunday with effect from Jestha 1, 2079 B.S.
NRB has fixed the office hours from Monday to Friday from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm. However, the office hours will be from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm from Karthik 16 to Magh 15.
