NLG Insurance Reports 35 Percent Rise In Net Profit (Q3 Report)

NLG Insurance Company Limited (NLG) has reported a surge in net profit by 35 percent as compared to the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year. The insurance company has posted a net profit of Rs 21.28 crores until the third quarter of this fiscal year, up from Rs 15.73 crores of the same period last year.

As of Chaitra end 2077 BS, NLG has a paid-up capital of Rs 109.63 crores with Rs 42.28 crores as reserves and surplus. Likewise, the insurance fund stood at Rs 100.27 crores. The company has a investment portfolio (short term & long term investments) of Rs 259.66 crores.

In the nine months of the fiscal year 2077/78, NLG Insurance has collected Rs 169.14 crores as total premium and Rs 85.36 crores as net premium. During this period, the net claim stood at Rs 38.13 crores.

Looking into the per-share ratios, NLG has an annualized EPS of Rs 25.88 while the per share networth is at Rs 233.78.
