Bhagawati Hydropower Development Company Declares 20 Percent Dividend

Bhagawati Hydropower Development Company Limited (BGWT) has declared a dividend to its shareholders. The dividend announcement is from the fiscal year 2081/82.
The board meeting of the company held on Ashwin 10, 2082 BS has proposed a 20 percent dividend to the shareholders. The total dividend includes a 14 percent bonus share and and a 6 percent cash dividend (including for tax purposes).
As of Ashad’s end 2082 BS, the company has a paid-up capital of Rs 59.49 crores. At this capital, the bonus share is worth Rs. 8.32 crores while the cash dividend amounts to Rs 3.57 crores.
The dividend is subject to approval from its upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
From the previous fiscal year 2080/81, the company had distributed a 14.7368 percent dividend, including a 4 percent bonus share and and a 10.7368 percent cash dividend.
