Chautari Laghubitta net profit rises by 174 percent in Q4

Chautari Laghubitta has published its unaudited fourth-quarter report of FY 2075/76 today. The financial report of Chautari Laghubitta has shown a 174% rise in its net profit this quarter as compared to last year’s corresponding quarter. The net profit stands at Rs. 2.82 crores for this quarter. Last year, the microfinance made a profit of Rs. 1.03 crores in the fourth quarter.

The paid-up capital stands at Rs. 18.60 crores. Similarly, reserve and surplus is at Rs. 4.32 crores. The microfinance has loans and advances of  Rs. 1.56 arba. Also, the company reported a net interest income of Rs. 9.56 crores in this period which is 85.63% more than previous year’s 4th quarter.

The non-performing loan stands at 0.51 percent down from o.72 percent in the third quarter. This has boosted the profit of the company. Annualized EPS is at Rs. 15.17 and net worth per share is Rs. 123.20.

Chautari Laghubiita has already signed an agreement with Aarambha Microfinance for the merger at a swap ratio of 1:1.
