According to Chinese custom department, the trade between China and India has declined in the first five months of 2019.

The data revealed by Chinese customs has reported a decline in trade by 3.59 percent. The trade amount has fallen to 36.87 Arab in this period.

The target of 1 billion trade amount set by the two economic giants looks a bit difficult to achieve right now. Last year, trade between these countries accounted for around 95 Arab dollars.

India’s export has declined by 1.62 percent in this five-month period. Similarly, Chinese exports towards India also fell by 4.10 percent during this period.

Till May 2019, India and China exported goods worth 7.70 Arab and 29.17 Arab between them respectively.
