Nepal Rastra Bank To Sell ‘Citizens Savings Bond 2083’ From Jestha 11

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is going to sell ‘Citizens Savings Bond 2083’ from Jestha 11, 2078 BS. One can submit the application for the purchase of bond until  Ashad 1, 2078 BS.

The central bank is planning to sell the bond worth Rs 2 Arba. It will mature in 2082. So, the maturity period is of 5 years.

The interest will be payable semi-annually. Investors will receive 9 percent interest. The tax is applicable in the earned interest income.

Only Nepalese Citizens can invest in the Citizens Saving Certificate.

The minimum purchase amount is Rs. 10,000.

Investors can receive loans by putting the bond as the collateral.
