Sunil Kumar Pokharel Appointed As CEO Of Civil Bank

Civil Bank has appointed Sunil Kumar Pokharel as its Chief Executive Officer. He has been appointed as the chief executive for four years. by the board of directors of the bank with effect from Ashad 18, 2078 BS. After Govinda Gurung resigned from the post of chief executive, Pokharel was given the responsibility of acting chief executive on Baisakh 18.
Pokharel started his banking career in 1991. He worked for the then Grindlays (now Standard Chartered) Bank for more than 19 years. He then worked at NIC Asia for about 5 years. He also worked at Nabil Bank for a period of one year.
