World Bank To Provide Rs 7 Billion Financial Assistance To Nepal

World Bank will provide financial assistance of Rs. 7 billion (60 million dollars) to Nepal. A meeting of the bank’s board of directors on Friday passed a resolution to help improve the quality of higher education in Nepal.

The assistance of the World Bank will be spent on higher education and practical education of students in backward areas. Similarly, emphasis will be laid on technical education, research and entrepreneurship.
The World Bank said in a statement that the assistance could be invested in students who are unable to pursue higher education and whose education has been affected by the disaster.
