DDC Increases Price Of Milk To Rs 85 Per Liter

The government-owned Dairy Development Corporation (DDC) has increased the consumer price of processed quality milk by Rs 9 per liter. The consumer price of milk has now reached Rs 85 per liter. Half a liter of milk is priced at Rs 42.50.
The price has been increased with effect from Friday on the basis of milk collection cost, processing cost, transportation cost, packaging, marketing and vendor commission.
