Global IME Laghubitta Proposes 20 Percent Dividend

Global IME Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (GILB) has announced the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend declaration is from the fiscal year 2078/79.
The microfinance company has proposed a 20 percent dividend. The total dividend includes a 12 percent bonus share and an 8 percent cash dividend.
The bonus share is worth Rs. 6.63 crores while the cash dividend amounts to Rs. 4.42 crores. Hence, the company is planning to distribute Rs. 11.05 crores as dividends.
From the previous fiscal year 2077/78, Global IME Laghubitta had distributed a 28 percent bonus share to the shareholders.
The dividend is subject to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
As of Ashad end 2079 BS, Global IME Laghubitta has a paid-up capital of Rs 55.25 crores. After the adjustment of proposed bonus share, the capital will rise to Rs 61.88 crores.
