Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) is popularly known as Nagarik Lagani Kosh. It was established on 18th March, 1991 (4th Chaitra, 2047 B.S). It started formal operation from 15th January, 1992 (1st Magh, 2048 B.S). CIT operates and manages various types of retirement schemes as well as various unit schemes and mutual fund program for both domestic and foreign investors.

The major shareholders of Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) include:

Rastriya Beema Sansthan: 27 Percent

Nepal Government: 10 Percent

Nepal Rastra Bank: 13 Percent

Nepal Stock Exchange: 10 Percent

Banks/Finances: 20 Percent

General Public: 20 Percent

Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) has distributed decent dividend to the shareholders consistently since the fiscal year 2067/68. The dividend has ranged from 23 percent to 52.63 percent during this period.

    I have bought share of CIT IPO. I do not have demat account connected to my shares so where did those cash dividend go?
