Economic Growth Rate To Be 5.84 Percent In FY 2078/79: CBS

The economic growth rate of Nepal for the current fiscal year 2078/79 will be 5.84 percent, as per the estimation made by the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS). The department released the economic data for the current fiscal year on Thursday.
In the previous fiscal year 2077/78, the GDP growth rate was 4.3 percent.
The department estimates that the growth rate of the primary sector, including agriculture and mining, will be 2.3 percent while the growth of non-agriculture sector will be 6.9 percent.
There are only three months left till the end of the fiscal year.
