Economic growth to double in 3 years, says CM Shanker Pokharel

Chief Minister of State-5, Shankar Pokharel has said the economic growth rate of the State will be doubled in the next three years.

He said this while addressing an election assembly at the local Hapure on Tuesday. Also the State-5 in-charge for the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), Pokharel claimed the highest economic growth rate was achieved during the time of the present government.

Chief Minister Pokharel went on the say that Nepal would achieve economic growth within five years that will surprise entire South Asia.
Stating the opposition party has started making negative comments about the present government, he urged the opposition party, the Nepali Congress, to wait for three more years to see the government’s progress.

He said now the responsibility of sketching the development future of Dang district was on the shoulders of Bimala Oli, the NCP candidate for the State Assembly member by-election taking place on November 30.

NCP State-5 chairperson Onsari Gharti, secretary Jaga Prasad Sharma among other leaders also expressed their views on the occasion.
