Foton Tunland E And View CS2L Launched In Nepal

MAW, the authorized distributor of Foton Motor in Nepal, has lauchded Tunland E and View CS2L in Nepal.

Foton’s new Tunland E is powered by a 2.8-liter inline 4-cylinder, turbocharged and intercooler with a 5-speed manual transmission diesel engine that produces a maximum power of 85 kW at 3600 rpm and a maximum torque of 280 Nm at 16 to 2400 rpm.

The Tunland E cargo box measures 1.52 m by 1.58 m by 0.44 m, which is claimed by the company to be the largest in the class. It also has a payload capacity of one tonne and a fuel tank capacity of 76 liters. For the comfort of the passengers, the Tunland E has an upper and lower A-arm (double whisbon coil spring) in the front and a dependent suspension without shock absorber in the rear.

“Safety is the highest priority in Foton,” the company said in a statement. So it has safety features like dual airbags, front ventilated discs, ABS with EBD, central locking and seat belt warning. Also, it has tilt and telescopic power steering, air conditioner, heater, electrically adjustable rear view mirror etc. The price of Tunland E for the Nepali market has been set at Rs 59.50 lakhs.

View CS2L: Nepal’s First 19-Seater Van

Along with Tunland, MAW has also unveiled Nepal’s first and only 19-seat capacity van. Equipped with the world’s most trusted 2.8-liter Cummins engine, it produces a maximum of 110 kilowatts of power and at 3600 rpm produces 330 Nm of torque at 3,000 rpm, the company said.

View CSL has the most features of the class like dual airbags, ABS with EBD, foldable seat, reverse sensor with camera, central locking and child safety lock, seat belt warning, front fog lamp, day running light. The new View CS also has power steering, power windows, air conditioner front and rear. The price of View CS2L has been fixed at Rs. 72 lakhs for the Nepali market.
