Garima Bikas Bank Announces 10 Percent Dividend

Garima Bikas Bank (GBBL), a national-level development bank, has announced a 10 percent dividend to the shareholders. The dividend declaration is from the fiscal year 2079/80.

The total dividend includes a 9.5 percent bonus share and a 0.5 percent cash dividend (for taxe purposes).

As of Ashad’s end 2080 BS, Garima Bikas Bank has a paid-up capital of Rs 5.18 Arba. At this capital, the bonus share is worth Rs 49.28 crores while the cash dividend amounts to Rs.2.59 crores.

The dividend is subject to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

From the previous fiscal year 2078/79, Garima Bikas Bank had distributed a 14.5 percent dividend, including 13 percent bonus shares to the shareholders.
