Global IME Bank Appoints Surendra Raj Regmi as Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Global IME Bank has appointed Bhagirathi Bhattarai Gyawali as an independent female director and Surendra Raj Regmi as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
The bank’s board of directors decided to appoint Gyawali to the board and Regmi as the CEO in their recent meeting.
Gyawali, who holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and Economics from Tribhuvan University, has a long history of teaching and involvement in various organizations.
Similarly, Regmi, who has been with the bank since 2008 starting as a Deputy Manager, will assume the role of CEO from Shrawan 1, 2081 (August 17, 2024). With over three decades of experience in banking, Regmi holds an MA in Economics from Tribhuvan University and an MBA from the University of Wales, UK.
