Global IME Bank Signs Tripartite Agreement To Issue Coop Card For Cooperatives

Global IME Bank Limited, Rastriya Sahakari Bank Limited and Smart Choice Technologies Limited have signed a tripartite agreement to issue Coop Card for Cooperatives.
The agreement was signed by Ratna Raj Bajracharya, Chief Executive Officer of Global IME Bank Limited, Narayan Prakash Bhuju, Chief Executive Officer of SmartChoice Technologies Limited and Badri Kumar Guragai, Chief Executive Officer of Rastriya Sahakari Bank Limited.
Considering the growing role and business of cooperatives, Coop Card is being issued under the sponsorship of Global IME Bank with the technology and process of issuing ATM card easily at minimum cost. All the cooperatives will be able to issue Coop Card by contacting Rastriya Sahakari Bank Limited.
This will enhance the co-operative sector’s access to payment systems and electronic transactions, freeing them from the obligation to go to the bank for ordinary banking transactions and further contribute to the development of co-operatives.
