Government Announces New Electricity Tariff Rates In Nepal

Electricity Regulatory Commission has fixed the new tariff rate of electricity by making some changes in the proposal of Nepal Electricity Authority. The commission has adjusted the electricity tariff rate with effect from Ashad 1, 2077.

The commission has adjusted the electricity tariff rate of domestic customers by reducing it as compared to the previous ones. According to the commission, customers who consume a minimum of 10 units per month with a 5 ampere line will now get electricity for free. But they have to pay a monthly demand fee of Rs 30.

Similarly, customers consuming 11 to 20 units of electricity will have to pay Rs. 3 per unit. They have to pay a demand fee of Rs. 30. Likewise, customers consuming 21 to 30 units will have to pay electricity tariff at the rate of Rs 6 and 50 paisa per unit including Rs 50 energy fee. In addition, those who consume more electricity will be charged as prescribed. The commission has fixed different tariff rates for customers taking domestic power lines up to 15 amps, 30 amps and 60 amps.

    15 ampere bata 30 ampere ma upgrade garda charge lagxa ki nai ?
