The government has extended the deadline for paying taxes till Ashad 15. The Inland Revenue Department has extended the deadline from Ashad 7 to Ashad 15 after the protest against the government’s decision to pay taxes by Jestha 25.
In the case of value added tax, the monthly tax statement for the months of Falgun & Chaitra 2076 and Baisakh, 2077, the bi-monthly and second quarterly period of the months of Magh- Falgun 2076 and Chaitra-Baisakh 2077 and the tax filing according to those details should be done within Ashad 7.
The deadline for filing excise duty as per the details and details to be submitted in the months of Falgun, Chaitra and Baisakh is 7th of Ashad, the deadline for submitting the details of advance tax deduction and advance tax collection and the deadline for filing tax as per those details is also 7th of Ashad.
