Himalayan Life Insurance Proposes 8 Percent Dividend

Himalayan Life Insurance Company Limited (HLI) has proposed a dividend to the shareholders. The dividend announcement is from the fiscal year 2080/81.
The board meeting of the insurance held on Jestha 14, 2082 BS has proposed an 8 percent dividend. The total dividend will be in the form of cash (including for tax purposes).
The dividend is subject to approval from Nepal Insurance Board and the upcoming annual general meeting of the insurance.
As of Ashad’s end 2081 BS, Himalayan Life Insurance has a paid-up capital of Rs 9.14 Arba. At this capital, the cash dividend amounts to Rs. 73.14 crores.
From the previous fiscal year 2079/80, the company had distributed a 14 percent bonus share to the shareholders.
