Hyundai’s Electric Car ‘Ioniq-5’ To Be Launched In Nepal

Laxmi Intercontinental, Hyundai’s authorized dealer in Nepal, is planning to launch Hyundai’s electric vehicle ‘Ioniq-5’ next week. 

The company claims that the vehicle has a battery pack with a capacity of 58 kWh that can run up to 365 kilometers on a single full charge. Ioniq 5 can charge from 10 percent to 80 percent in just 18 minutes, as claimed by the company.

The company has built this vehicle in the electrical architecture of 800 volts. Since, it supports high-capacity chargers, charging at the 225 kW port at home takes about 7 hours. The company has given a warranty of up to 8 years or 160,000 kilometers on the battery.

The ground clearance of the vehicle is 160 mm. The electric vehicle will be available in 11 colors.

The price of Hyundai’s electric vehicle ‘Ioniq-5’ in the Nepali market will range from Rs 82 lakh to Rs 87 lakh, as per the company.
