Investors Protest in Nepse: Two investors to do fast until death(‘Aamaran Ansan’) for market reforms

Investors are protesting in front of Nepal Stock Exchange to deny the share transactions until their demands are fulfilled. Two investors named Tilak Koirala and Hari Dhakal have issued their commitment to undergo fast until death.

Their demands include resignation of finance minister Dr. Yubraj Khatiwada, Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Dr. Chiranjivi Nepal,  Chairman of Sebon Dr. Rewat Bahadur Karki, Executive director of Sebon Niraj Giri, Chairman of Beema Samiti Dr. Chiranjivi Chapagain, chairman of Nepal Stock Exchange Laxman Neupane and CEO Chandra Singh Saud.

The share investors pressure groups have issued their 14 demands for market reforms. And they will continue to protest until their full demands are met.

Due to the investor’s protest, the transactions in Nepal Stock Exchange has been affected.
