IPO Of Madhya Bhotekoshi Hydropower Suspended

The IPO of Madhya Bhotekoshi Hydropower Company Limited, which has been open for sale to the locals since Tuesday, has been postponed. The company was issuing 60 lakh shares to project-affected locals and other residents of Sindhupalchowk district.
The provision was made to apply online by the locals, considering the risk of COVID-19. The locals could apply through the branch offices of various banks and financial institutions in Sindhupalchowk district and through the websites of seven merchant bankers in the Kathmandu Valley.
However, the issue manager Global IME Capital and the company have jointly released the statement that the IPO issue will remain suspended until the COVID situation eases.
