Janata Bank announces dividend (With Bonus Share)

Janata Bank Nepal has announced a 12 percent dividend to the shareholders. The dividend declaration is from the profit of the fiscal year 2075/76.

The board meeting held on Ashwin 5, 2076 has made the decision about the dividend. The total dividend includes a 6 percent bonus share and 6 percent cash dividend.

Janata Bank has proposed the bonus share worth Rs. 48 crores and the cash dividend is worth Rs. 48 crores. So, the bank is planning to distribute Rs. 96 crores as the dividend.

After the approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the upcoming AGM, Janata Bank will distribute the declared dividend.

At current, the bank has a paid-up capital of Rs. 8.00 Arba. The company is in the merger agreement with Global IME Bank Limited.
