Jyoti Life Insurance Amends Dividend From FY 2076/77

Jyoti Life Insurance Company Limited (JLI) has revised the dividend to the shareholders from the fiscal year 2076/77.
As per the direction of Beema Samiti, JLI has proposed a 10.5263 percent dividend. The total dividend includes a 10 percent bonus share and a 0.5263 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes).
Previously, the board meeting of the insurance held on Karthik 14, 2078 BS had proposed a 10.5263 percent dividend, including a 5 percent bonus share and a 5.5263 percent cash dividend.
As of Ashad’s end 2078 BS, Jyoti Life Insurance has a paid-up capital of Rs 2.20 Arba. At this capital, the bonus share is worth Rs 22 crores while the cash dividend amounts to Rs 1.15 crores. Hence, the company plans to distribute a total dividend of Rs 23.15 crores (including for tax purposes).
The dividend is subject to approval from Beema Samiti and the upcoming annual general meeting of the insurance.
