Krishna Bahadur Karki Appointed As CEO OF Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE)

The government has appointed Krishna Bahadur Karki as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE).
Karki has a master’s degree in public administration and economics. He is currently the head of the Environment, Compensation, and Rehabilitation Unit of Budhigandaki Hydropower Project.
Eleven candidates had applied for the vacant post of Nepse CEO. Out of them, five were shortlisted. The selection committee had recommended Karki as CEO to the Council of Ministers through the Ministry of Finance.
Chandra Singh Saud had resigned from the post of CEO of Nepse on Bhadra 8, 2078 BS after being embroiled in controversy over the purchase of shares of Sarbottam Cement in the name of his wife.
