Lumbini Bikas Bank Proposes 12 Percent Dividend From FY 2078/79

Lumbini Bikas Bank (LBBL) has announced the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend declaration is from the fiscal year 2078/79.
The development bank has proposed a 12 percent dividend. The total dividend includes a 3 percent bonus share and a 9 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes).
As of Ashad’s end 2079 BS, Lumbini Bikas Bank has a paid-up capital of Rs 328.42 crores. At this capital, the company is planning to distribute Rs 39.41 crores as dividends. Out of the total dividend, the bonus share amounts to Rs 9.85 crores while the cash dividend is worth Rs 29.55 crores.
From the previous fiscal year 2077/78, Lumbini Bikas Bank had distributed a 13.6842 percent dividend, including a 13 percent bonus share and a 0.6842 percent cash dividend.
The dividend is subject to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
