Mahuli Laghubitta EPS declines into half with fall in profit

Mahuli Laghubitta, a microfinance company with a capital of Rs. 12.24 crore has reported a fall in profit in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2076/77. The company earned a profit of Rs. 83 lakh, down from Rs. 86 lakh in the first quarter of the previous year. With the fall in profit, the EPS has declined to Rs. 27.16. The fall in EPS into half of the previous year’s first quarter is mainly due to stagnant profit as well as doubling of capital during this period.
