Mega Bank Nepal Limited has introduced the facility of opening an account through video calls for the first time in Nepal. The Bank has brought the facility of opening an account through ‘video call’ by adopting the convenience of the customers and the latest banking technology.
With this facility, the customers will be able to open an account of their choice from home. The Bank is confident that the facility of opening an account through ‘video call’ will be very convenient and effective for the customers who have internet access. Arrangements have been made for the concerned departments of Mega Bank to contact the customer by giving information about the account they want to open.
How To Get This Service?
First of all, the customers have to open the official website of Mega Bank. At the top left of the website comes the ‘Online Account Open Menu’. After clicking on this menu, you will find various savings account plans of Mega Bank. You have to choose which account you want to open. Once selected, click on the ‘Create’ tab and select the video call feature.
Customers should tick it and fill in their name, mobile number, email, details including the date for the nearest branch office and upload their citizenship or passport by taking a photo or scan. Upon receiving the details, the concerned departments of Mega Bank will contact the customer and start the service.
“We believe that this service provided by Mega Bank will end the obligation of customers with internet access to come to the bank to open an account,” said CEO Khunjeli.
