Mega Bank celebrates 9th Anniversary

Mega Bank completes its nine-year of operation this Tuesday. Speaking at the occasion of its 9th anniversary, the bank Chairman Bhoj Bahadur Shah applauded the success of the bank. He said that the bank has become the second-largest bank of the country in terms of paid-up capital. Furthermore, he said that the bank has extended its business area and networks which will help it to generate a higher profit in the coming years ahead.
The successful merger of Tourism Development Bank and Paschimanchal was the key factor in the improvement of the bank’s performance, the Chairman added. He also informed that the bank will adopt the federal structure and establish Province Headquarter in each province.
Likewise, Anupama Khunjeli, the CEO of the bank expressed that the company has been able to establish itself as one of the successful commercial banks in a short span. She also said that the shareholders will get double-digit dividend this year and will look for a good partner for the merger process.
As a part of its CSR, the bank provided the financial support of Rs 100,000 to Pourakhi Nepal. It is an NGO that works to provide quality education.
