Mega Bank Introduces New Interest Rate

Mega Bank Nepal has published a new interest rate for its deposits and loans. The interest rates are effective from October 18, 2021 [Karthik 1, 2078 BS].

Mega Bank will provide up to 5.77 percent interest in the savings deposit and up to 9.27 percent in term (fixed) deposits. Likewise, the loans will be floated with a premium of up to 7 percent on the base rate.

The base rate of Mega Bank as of Bhadra’s end, 2078 BS is 6.80 percent. Likewise, the interest rate spread is 4.16 percent.
