Muktinath Development Bank Provides Relief Assistance During Lockdown

Muktinath Development Bank Limited has been distributing relief items in various parts of the country under the Corporate Social Responsibility Program to the needy, daily wage earners and economically weaker families affected by the nationwide shutdown imposed by the Government of Nepal.
The Ghorahi branch office of the bank has donated food to the food bank of Ghorahi sub-metropolis. The food items were handed over by Yubaraj Bhandari, Chief of Ghorahi Branch of the Bank to Sanat Kumar Shrestha, Ward Member of Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City Ward No. 15.
Similarly, the bank has also provided relief materials to Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolis-04. The assistance was handed over by Umesh Joshi, Chief of Dhangadhi Branch of the Bank to Padma Raj Sapkota, Chief of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolis-04 and Deepak Thapa, Chief of Sundar Sudurpaschim Transport Pvt. Ltd.
In addition, the bank has provided relief materials to Shakti Kumari Tole Sudhar Samiti of Nargajun-04, Kathmandu. The aid was handed over by Vijay Upreti, branch chief of Sitapaila branch of the bank, to Gopal Shrestha, chairman of Shakti Kumari Toll Reform.
Til Bahadur Gurung, chief information officer of the bank, said that the bank would help the needy families as much as possible during the upcoming lockdown period.
