National Microfinance Laghubitta to Provide 15 Percent Dividend

National Microfinance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NMFBS) has announced the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend is from the fiscal year 2080/81.
The microfinance company has proposed a 15 percent dividend. The total dividend includes a 14.25 percent bonus share and 0.75 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes). The company will distribute the dividend worth Rs. 17.48 crores.
The dividend is subject to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the microfinance.
From the previous fiscal year 2079/80, National Microfinance Laghubitta had distributed a 15 percent dividend, including a 7.5 percent bonus share and a 7.5 percent cash dividend.
As of Ashad’s end 2081 BS, NMFBS has a current paid-up capital of Rs. 116.55 crores. After the inclusion of the bonus share, the capital will increase to Rs. 133.15 crores.
