Nepal Bangladesh Bank closing debenture 2085 worth Rs. 2 Arba today

The debenture issue of Nepal Bangladesh Bank is going to close from today (Ashad 8, 2076). Applicants can still apply for the debenture until the end of banking hours today.

Nepal Bangladesh Bank opened the issue of 20 lakh units debenture worth Rs. 2 Arba from Jestha 10, 2076. The bank received approval from SEBON on Baisakh 23, 2076. The debenture is called ‘10.25% NBBL Debenture 2085’.

Out of total debenture, Rs. 1.20 Arba worth of debenture is sold through private placement. The remaining Rs. 80 crores worth of debenture is issued to the general public.

The interest rate on debenture is 10.25 percent per annum. The debenture has a maturity period of 10 years. Interested investors can purchase the debenture to earn a decent return and minimize the risk in their portfolio.

Nabil Investment Banking Limited is the issue manager for the debenture.
