Nepal Bangladesh Bank To Provide 15.50 Percent Dividend

Nepal Bangladesh Bank (NBB) has declared a dividend to the shareholders. The dividend announcement is from the fiscal year 2077/78. The board meeting of the bank held on Ashwin 24, 2078 BS has proposed a 15.50 percent dividend.
The total dividend includes a 12 percent bonus share and a 3.50 percent cash dividend.
From the previous fiscal year 2076/77, Nepal Bangladesh Bank had distributed an 8.42 percent dividend including a 6 percent bonus share and a 2.42 percent cash dividend.
The dividend is subject to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank as well as the bank’s upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
As of Ashad’s end 2078 BS, Nepal Bangladesh Bank has a paid-up capital of Rs 9 Arba. After the inclusion of the proposed bonus share, the capital will increase to Rs 10.08 Arba.
