Nepal Hydro Developers Declares 8.42 Percent Dividend

Nepal Hydro Developers Limited (NHDL) has announced the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend declaration is from the fiscal year 2080/81.
The hydropower company has proposed an 8.42 percent dividend. The total dividend includes an 8 percent bonus share and 0.42 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes).
As of Ashad’s end 2081 BS, Nepal Hydro Developers has a paid-up capital of Rs 35.94 crores. At this capital, the bonus share is worth Rs 2.87 crores while the cash dividend amounts to Rs 15.13 lakhs.
The dividend is subject to approval from the company’s upcoming annual general meeting (AGM).
From the previous fiscal year 2079/80, the hydropower company had distributed a 7.37 percent dividend, including a 7 percent bonus share and 0.37 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes). Likewise, from the fiscal year 2078/79, Nepal Hydro Developers had provided a 5.2632 percent dividend, including a 5 percent bonus shares.
Similarly, in the fiscal year 2077/78, the company had distributed a 7.3684 percent dividend, including a 7 percent bonus share. Likewise, in the fiscal year 2076/77, the company provided a 15.79 dividend to the shareholders, including a 15 percent bonus share and a 0.79 percent cash dividend.
