Nepal Life Insurance Earns Rs. 46.81 Crores In 6 Months [Q2 Report]

Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) has posted a profit of Rs. 46.81 crores until the second quarter of this fiscal year 2081/82. As per the unaudited report, the profit has increased as compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. Last year, the NLIC had posted a net profit of Rs. 42.77 crores in the six months period.
Nepal Life Insurance has collected a net premium of Rs. 22.39 Arba during the 6 months period. This is almost 12 percent higher than the same period of the previous year.
As of Poush end 2081 BS, NLIC has a paid-up capital of Rs. 8.2 Arba with Rs. 4.47 Arba in reserve and surplus. The company has Rs. 218.41 Arba in life assurance fund.
The annualized per share earnings (EPS) and per share net-worth stand at Rs. 11.41 and Rs. 154.51 respectively.
