Nepal Reinsurance (NRIC) Proposes 5 Percent Dividend from FY 2079/80

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) has announced the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend declaration is from the fiscal year 2079/80.

The reinsurance company has proposed a 5 percent dividend. The total dividend includes a 4.75 percent bonus share and 0.25 percent cash dividend.

As of Ashad’s end 2080 BS, NRIC has a paid-up capital of Rs 12.81 Arba. At this capital, the bonus share is worth Rs 60.86 crores while the cash dividend amounts to Rs 3.20 crores.

The dividend shall be distributed after the approval from Nepal Insurance Authority and the upcoming AGM of the company.

From the previous fiscal year 2078/79, NRIC had distributed a 5 percent dividend, including a  4.75 percent bonus share and 0.25 percent cash dividend. Similarly, from the fiscal year 2077/78, the company had provided a 5.2632 percent dividend to the shareholders, including a 5 percent bonus share.

Likewise, in the fiscal year 2076/77, NRIC had distributed a 19 percent dividend, including a 16.50 percent bonus share and 2.50 percent cash dividend. However, the company didn’t distribute any dividend to the shareholders from the fiscal year 2075/76.
