Nepal Share Market Today
The share market fell 4.59 points today (Mangsir 1, 2076) with the Nepse index closing in 1135.95 points. Likewise, the sensitive index closed on 250.06 points, 0.11 points lower than yesterday. A total of 833,881 shares were traded through 4,519 transactions of 163 companies. The total turnover for the day stood at Rs. 22.84 crores.

The mutual fund sub-index was the top gaining index with a rise in value by 1.6 percent. On the other hand, the microfinance index lost the most with a 0.45 percent decline in value.
Salt Trading Corporation (STC) and Panchthar Power Company (PPCL) remained as the top gainer stocks for the day. The share price of STC and PPCL advanced by 9.91 percent and 9.68 percent and closed on Rs. 943 and Rs. 102 respectively.

Global IME Sammunat Scheme (GIMES1) and Ankhu Khola Jalvidyut (AKJCL) were the top loser stocks of the day. The price of GIMES1 and AKJCL stocks declined by 5.66 percent and 5.26 percent to close on Rs. 8 and Rs. 54 respectively.
